About Keith

Keith has been heavily involved in the Belmont-Hillsboro neighborhood community. In his fifth term as president of Belmont-Hillsboro Neighbors, Inc., he has worked on many neighborhood planning and zoning issues including the Belmont-Hillsboro Neighborhood Conservation Zoning Overlay, the Belmont University Institutional Overlay, and the St. Bernard's Sculpture Park. Keith is a member of the Belmont University neighborhood advisory council and is on the board of Historic Nashville, Inc.

Professionally, Keith began his career at EDS, where he worked in Detroit, Washington DC, London, and Dallas. It was with EDS that he received certification as a Certified Management Accountant (CMA). Keith left EDS in 1992 when he became a small-business owner of a computer training and consulting business in his hometown of Paducah. Over the next 3 years he turned the company around by providing contract trainers and training services for corporate clients including Lockheed-Martin, Procter and Gamble, Fisher Price, and other Fortune 100 companies. Currently Keith is employed as a consulting business analyst for HCA Information and Technology services.

Keith lives with his partner of 12 years, Gary Bynum, Vice President-Human Resources for Homeland Security Corporation. Keith enjoys home renovation projects, cooking, and reading. He moved to Nashville in 1996 from his hometown of Paducah, Kentucky. Keith was valedictorian of his class at St. Mary High School and a National Merit Scholar. He graduated with honors from Emory University in Atlanta with a BBA in finance.
